Tops are made of wood and are cut straight across at the top and in a conical shape at the base. One end of a string is wound around the top and the other end is attached to a rod of wood. You set the top going by pulling the rod backwards. The players divide into two teams and everyone tries to knock over their opponents' tops while keeping their own spinning.
